1.80ct Marquise Cut Lab-Grown Diamond VVS/VS/SI1 | D/E/F/G/H/I Colour | IGI
Mount Tisé's marquise-cut lab-grown diamonds exhibit a unique shape and elegant contour. This cut originated from an 18th-century romantic tale, initially designed to capture the delicate curve of King Louis XV of France's lover's lips. It has since evolved into a diamond shape with a distinct artistic flair and uniqueness. Each marquise-cut diamond is meticulously crafted, showcasing smooth lines and sharp ends, creating an irresistible visual allure. Its elongated shape adds a touch of elegance and individuality to any ring, reflecting unparalleled brilliance and depth through the play of light.

Diamond clarity is a key indicator for assessing the internal and external imperfections of a diamond. We use international standard clarity grades, including FL (Flawless), IF (Internally Flawless), VVS (Very, Very Slightly Included), VS (Very Slightly Included), SI (Slightly Included), and I (Included). The higher the clarity grade, the fewer imperfections the diamond has, and usually, the higher the price. Mount Tisé offers diamonds with clarity grades ranging from SI1 to VVS1:
- VVS1 (Very, Very Slightly Included, First Grade) - Contains very few minute inclusions, nearly invisible to the naked eye.
- VVS2 (Very, Very Slightly Included, Second Grade) - Contains very few minute inclusions, difficult to detect even under 10x magnification.
- VS1 (Very Slightly Included, First Grade) - Contains very few inclusions, still difficult to see under 10x magnification.
- VS2 (Very Slightly Included, Second Grade) - Contains minor inclusions, hard to see with the naked eye.
- SI1 (Slightly Included, First Grade) - Contains visible inclusions, but with no significant impact on overall appearance.
After being set in jewelry, the diamond's light transmission may be somewhat affected, making it hard to distinguish between extremely high clarity and high clarity. For setting and daily wear, we recommend diamonds between SI1 and VS1, as they look similar to higher clarity grades to the naked eye and offer better value for money.
Diamond clarity is a critical indicator for evaluating the internal and external flaws of a diamond. The higher the clarity grade, the fewer the flaws, and typically, the higher the price. Mount Tisé offers diamonds ranging from SI1 to VVS1 clarity grades:
- VVS1 (Very Very Slightly Included, Grade 1) - Contains very few microscopic inclusions, almost invisible to the naked eye.
- VVS2 (Very Very Slightly Included, Grade 2) - Contains very few microscopic inclusions, difficult to detect under 10x magnification.
- VS1 (Very Slightly Included, Grade 1) - Contains very small inclusions, still not easily visible under 10x magnification.
- VS2 (Very Slightly Included, Grade 2) - Contains small inclusions, difficult to see with the naked eye.
- SI1 (Slightly Included, Grade 1) - Contains some visible inclusions, but they do not significantly affect the overall appearance.
Once set in jewellery, the light transmission of the diamond may be affected, making it difficult to distinguish between extremely high clarity and high clarity. For setting and daily wear, we recommend purchasing diamonds between SI1 and VS1, as they appear nearly identical to higher clarity grades to the naked eye, offering better value.
The cut grade is a critical standard for evaluating the craftsmanship of a diamond. It measures the precision of the diamond's cut, its symmetry, and its ability to reflect light. High-quality cuts provide more fire and brilliance, determining the beauty of the diamond's appearance. Cut grades range from highest to lowest as follows: "Excellent," "Very Good," "Good," "Fair," and "Poor." Diamonds with higher cut grades are dazzling and possess optimal optical performance. Mount Tisé offers diamonds with cut grades from Excellent to Good:
- Excellent: Diamond cutting is extremely fine, with exceptional light reflection and sparkle.
- Very Good: Cutting is excellent, with outstanding light reflection and sparkle.
- Good: Cutting quality is good, with commendable light reflection and sparkle.
Cut grades mainly apply to round-cut diamonds. For fancy-shaped diamonds (such as oval, princess, heart, emerald, etc.), there are usually no explicit cut grades. This is because different shapes of diamonds need to be evaluated based on their unique characteristics and cutting styles.
